Bear Museum & Library. For the doll collector, this is one of the largest
doll collections on permanent display in the U.S. For the teddy bear collector,
this is one of ten major teddy bear museums in the world and the largest in
the U.S. The Museum is handicapped accessible.
The Museum is perfectly situated in the heart of Santa Barbara’s shopping,
restaurants, entertainment and cultural attractions. It is on “Museum
Circle”, just blocks from Santa Barbara Art Museum, Santa Barbara Historical
Museum, Karpeles Manuscript Library & Museum, future Model Train Museum,
as well as the reconstructed Santa Barbara Presidio, historic Lobero Theater,
and the Santa Barbara County Courthouse – considered to be the most
beautiful government building in the world.
Parking
The Museum is one block from the Paseo Nuevo shopping complex where you will
find restaurants, shops and free parking. It is less than two blocks from State
Street, the main street in downtown Santa Barbara. Click here for a printable pdf

and down the center of town on State Street. You can ride the shuttle for 50
cents in each direction.
