doll and teddy bear artist and collector convention

Seven Sales Exhibits

One of the major attractions of the convention is the Signed One-of-a-Kind Artist Signature Piece Doll & Teddy Bear Sale and Judging for Helen Bullard and Beverly Port Awards for Excellence, which is held on Thursday evening prior to dinner. A signed “signature piece” means the doll or teddy bear reflects the style and image that is most recognized by the world of collectors. It also means that the piece will come with the artist’s signature. Most importantly, it is a one-of-a-kind so you will have the only doll or teddy bear that looks exactly like the one you buy. These pieces will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. 100% of the sales price will go to the artist.

During the sale, you will have the opportunity to judge the pieces for Awards for Excellence – the Beverly Port Award for Excellence among the artist teddy bear entries and the Helen Bullard Award for Excellence among the artist doll entries. Award winners will be announced at dinner on Saturday. Below are the award winners at the 2020 Convention.
