Artist Doll & Teddy Bear Convention

Convention Event: Thursday 5:00p.m. to Saturday 8:30p.m. 

Overall

  • Ten-Year Anniversary special registration fee ($95) includes all activities, eight (8) buffet meals, all day refreshments, open bar all three (3) nights, new and old doll and teddy bear magazines
  • Socialize with over 100 of the leading doll and teddy bear artists – get their autographs and take photos
  • Two (2) free rare collectable pins honoring leading artists (only available at the convention)

Thursday, April 30

  • Nineteen (19) full/half-day workshops ($10-$95) conducted by many of the world’s leading doll and teddy bear artists
  • Free buffet breakfast and lunch for morning and afternoon workshop attendees respectively
  • Refreshments all day and free magazines (new and old) for convention attendees
  • Sale of Signed and Certified One-of-a-Kind Artist Dolls and Teddy Bears with an open bar
  • Attendee Judging for 2020 Helen Bullard Artist Doll Awards and Beverly Port Artist Teddy Bear Awards

Friday, May 1

  • Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner provided
  • Market Place for artists and collectors to buy and sell doll and bear supplies, do-dads & silly things
  • Six (6) special exhibits of signed, one-of-a-kind artist dolls and teddy bears on exhibit and for sale:
    - Alaskan Figures
    - Horror Movie and Story Figures
    - Japanese Figures
    - Medieval Era Figures
    - Movie Stars and Characters
    - Russian Figures
  • Six (6) entertaining and educational presentations for collectors and artists
  • Good Bears of the World General Membership Annual Meeting (nonmembers are invited)
  • Two (2) hours of early admission to the Artist Doll & Teddy Bear Show & Sale with an open bar

Saturday, May 2

  • Buffet breakfast and dinner provided
  • Refreshments all day, free magazines (new and old), and free doll or bear door prizes of your choice if you purchase an artist doll or teddy bear (for the public)
  • Largest Artist Doll & Teddy Bear Sale with over 100 participating artists – all original handmade creations
  • Good Bears of the World Charity Silent Auction for children going through traumatic experiences
  • Good Bears of the World gifting boxes of teddy bears to the local Police Department
  • Professional Doll Makers Art Guild Award Ceremony with an open bar
  • Banquet with Beverly Port & Helen Bullard Award Ceremony and slides of award winning dolls and bears
